Winery Lunches - 2024 Edition
As we settle into our new year, we are excited to share that we’re back with a calendar filled with Winery Lunches for your enjoyment. Whether you were able to join us for our first official season of Winemaker Lunches or not, we’re back, and season two is going to be packed with even more opportunities to soak in the majesty of Somerston Estate and experience everything our hospitality, culinary, and production team have honed in on.
We look forward to immersing you in what our team is in the midst of while you join us for an elevated food and wine pairing and presentation. Whether it’s our Director of Viticulture & Winemaking, Craig Becker, Winemaker Cody Hurd, or Vineyard Manager, Jake Knobloch, you will learn about our fundamentals of winemaking from ground to glass. Early in the growing season, we’re working hands-on with our vines to give them the delicate balance of rigor and support to optimize the quality of fruit grown at Somerston Estate.
Each month introduces a new challenge to our team in different ways, depending on the phase of winegrowing and winemaking. May will introduce lush vines, with our vineyard crew working to keep the focus on growing the fruit versus the shoots. While August could give signs towards an early or possibly later harvest—no matter the month you visit, you are sure to learn and be aware of the steps we take to produce our world-class wines.
